Advancing Voices in Unequal Spaces
Not All Professionals Start From The Same Place!
Some voices carry assumptions, stereotypes, or histories that shape how they are heard, long before they speak.
Equitive exists to explore and advance communication in unequal spaces: where credibility is not automatic, neutrality is often a myth, and identity shapes access to influence.
As Founder, my background is in international media and communications. My work focuses on helping professionals — particularly those from underrepresented or politicised backgrounds — develop the communication, narrative, and leadership strategies they need to be heard, believed, and respected without erasing who they are.

The Communication Advantage is a practical guide to communication strategy, written with an awareness that not all professionals start from the same level of credibility. It emerged from years of observing how those same skills operate very differently depending on identity, context, and stereotype.

WHY EQUITIVE
Because communication does not operate on a level playing field.
Equitive focuses on communication in unequal spaces, where identity, background, and perception shape whose voices are heard, trusted, or dismissed. In these environments, credibility is not automatic, and neutrality is often a myth.
Grounded in international media and communications experience, Equitive explores how professionals navigate power, bias, culture, and stereotype, and how they can communicate with authority without erasing who they are.
Through writing, analysis, mentoring, and advisory work, Equitive supports individuals and organisations working across difference, complexity, and imbalance.
This is not about polishing a generic leadership style. It is about understanding the conditions in which communication takes place, and learning how to speak, lead, and be heard within them.
